Wayward Journey at the Grass Valley Animal Shelter is now offering low-cost, personalized pet ID tags to our community pets! These tags provide a simple but important way to help ensure that if your pet gets lost, whoever finds them can quickly identify them and contact you.
Did you know that a simple ID tag can help a lost pet get back home quickly instead of ending up in a shelter? Keeping pets with their families is a huge part of Wayward Journey’s mission, and initiatives like this make a real difference in our community.
Go on into the Grass Valley Animal Shelter Tuesday through Saturday from 12-4 to make a tag for your furry friend!
Location: 556 Freeman Ln, Grass Valley
Cost: $10 donation per tag
A collar with an ID tag can be the difference between a pet being safely reunited with their family and ending up in a shelter. By making identification tags affordable and accessible, we hope to prevent unnecessary shelter intakes, reduce stress for pets and their families, and keep more animals where they belong — at home.
This program is part of Wayward Journey’s commitment to animal welfare beyond the shelter walls. Get your pet tagged!
