CAL FIRE update: 3900 acres, 0% containment, no change to evacuations or closures.

The fire continued to burn actively overnight in a southerly direction. Firefighters are engaged in perimeter control and structure defense. Winds have remained steady and continue at 10-15 mph out of the northwest. No injuries to firefighters or damage to structures reported. 150 structures remain threatened.
Evacuations: Big Pine east of Hwy 395, white Mountain Research Center, Owens Valley Radio Observatory.
Road closures: Warm Springs Road east of Hwy 395, Hwy 168 east of Hwy 395.

Extreme rate of spread. Equipment is prepared to protect the Caltech Owens Valley Radio Observatory. White Mountain Research Center and Owens Valley Radio Observatory are evacuated. EVACUATION ORDER : Town of Big Pine East of Hwy 395 Evacuation Center located at 682 Spruce St. Bishop.
