Good progress made by the firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Three residential structures and six outbuildings have been destroyed. No injuries reported. Demobilization of excess resources continues.

Forward spread of the fire has been stopped and all evacuations have been lifted. Five structures and three outbuildings were destroyed. Gusty winds are expected in the fire area today

Erratic winds over the fire area have increased acreage and containment is now at 10%. Corning Road and Mountain Road are closed. Structures are threatened. Erratic winds have recently caused a reemergence of a structure threat, with some structures destroyed. Fire is burning at a dangerous rate of spread.

Tehama County Sheriff’s deputies are closing Corning Road to all non-resident traffic. Lookie loos are impeding access for firefighters.
