Eagle, Northern California District, BLM. Fifteen miles south of Cedarville, CA. Active fire behavior with group torching and uphill runs. Residences and sage-grouse habitat threatened.

No fire growth over the last two days. Threat to structures has been mitigated.
Approximately 1,800 acres of Sage Grouse habitat has been burned.

Planned actions: Continue containment with engines in lower elevation rangelands. Anchor and flank in the Warner Mountains. Difficult access in Warner Mountains. This fire is burning on public lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management Northern California District and on the Modoc National Forest.
Minimal fire behavior observed over night. Fire has burned approximately 200 acres into the South Warner Wilderness. Threats continue to the community of Eagleville and surrounding areas. Red Flag Warning over fire area remains in effect from 11 AM to 11 PM for abundant lightning and dry fuels.
