Crockett is under an immediate evacuation order as the fire that began near the Carquinez Bridge toll plaza in Vallejo quickly spreads.
An Evacuation Warning is in effect for the entire town of Crockett. Evacuations are under way in areas of Crockett south of Pomona street. Residents in other portions of the town should prepare now in case an evacuation is ordered. The evacuation center for Crockett residents is located at the Hercules Swim Center at 2001 Refugio Valley Road in Hercules. Gather any essential items you could carry with you, including medications, baby supplies, money, important papers, photos. Locate any pets and be prepared to cage or leash them.
