Fire crews continue to mop up and patrol the fire perimeter. For tonight, winds are expected to be weak with northeasterly winds across the ridges and drainage winds at lower elevations. Overnight relative humidity will be better than previous nights, but still poor. Fire suppression repair teams are actively engaged working around the fire perimeter and affected areas.

No further progression of the fire is expected, an estimated 1,200 residents have been evacuated from: Cal State Channel Islands, Pt Magu Naval base and old Conejo Rd.
