Howard Fire in Howards Gulch, north of Canby (Modoc County) is now 350 acres and 30% contained. Moderate fire behavior with flanking, backing and single tree torching. Threat to high tension power lines, Modoc Railroad lines, Tescadorra Gas pipeline and Sage Grouse habitat.
