No evacuations are in place and no road closures are reported. The Castaic Lake Upper Lake East boat launch ramp is closed, but the West ramp remains open. There has been one minor laceration injury, and one firefighter transported and treated for dehydration. Crews continue to reinforce containment lines.

380 resources are currently assigned including 5 aircraft. 2 outbuildings have been destroyed. No evacuations are in place and no road closures are reported. The Castaic Lake Upper Lake East boat launch ramp is closed, but the West ramp remains open. There has been one minor laceration injury. Crews today will finish direct fire line and hose lay around the fire, reinforce fire line where needed, and back haul as needed.

The Lake Fire started on June 17, 2017 near Castaic Lake. Angeles National Forest and Los Angeles County Fire Department are in Unified Command. The fire is currently 800 acres and is 20% contained. 2 outbuildings have been destroyed. No evacuations are in place and no road closures are reported. The Castaic Lake Upper Lake East boat launch ramp is closed, but the West ramp remains open. There has been one minor laceration injury. Night shift crews will be mopping up and strengthening containment lines.

Per Angeles National Forest: 800 acres 20% contained crew will be working throughout the night mopping up and strengthening containment lines.
