The decrease in fire size from 700 acres to 540 acres is due to better mapping. Overnight fire spread was minimal as overnight humidities increased.

A threat remains to structures due to gusty winds forecasted over the fire area today.

There is also a threat to the Schaffer Mountain communications tower and Sage Grouse habitat has been impacted.
