Steep terrain continues to hamper line construction. Overnight winds pushing interior hot spots remain a threat to containment lines.

Mandatory Evacuations have been lifted as of 2:00 PM for Positas Road and Golden Bear Estates. One firefighter injury has been reported.
Firefighters are making good progress this afternoon, however erratic winds and steep terrain are challenging suppression efforts.

North Bay type III IMT assigned.
Firefighters will have a challenging day on the fire line improving containment and control lines. The terrain in the area is grassy oak woodland, steep terrains, difficult access with dry dense vegetation.
Mandatory evacuations remain in place for Golden Bear Estates. Mandatory evacuations have been lifted for Los Positas Estates.
Additional resources have arrived.
The temperature on the fire line will be in the 100’s, low relative humidity with gusts of winds in the afternoon.

Firefighters continue working aggressively on the wildland fire which has increased in acreage due to topography, location, extremely dry dense vegetation and weather. The terrain in the area is grassy oak woodland, challenging steep terrains, and difficult access. Mandatory evacuations remain in place for Los Positos Estates, and Golden Bear Estates. Additional resources have been ordered and are enroute. The temperature at scene is in the 90’s, with low relative humidity and gusty winds.

Highway 128/ Monticello to Winters closed due to fire in Yolo County. Expected to reopen tomorrow morning. No damage to Napa County has been reported, per Napa County SO.
