Firefighters are making good progress. Some resources are being sent to a 1/2 acre fire on Cohasset Rd cross of Nicalog Rd in Chico. That fire is burning at a slow rate of spread.

Per CAL FIRE/Butte County Fire, short range spotting across Hwy 32. There are no evacuations at this time.
The fire is burning up canyon in dense brush, grass. Structures are threatened.
