Moderate build on the smoke, fueled by upcanyon winds from the drainage. No torching or spotting reported.

Helicopter 404 is 5 miles out, with a crew on board. One handcrew, Engine 342, Engine 2381, Chief 2, Patrol 41 and Patrol 42 on scene. Cal Fire engines arriving shortly. There is no danger to any structures, no road closures and no evacuations. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
