CAL FIRE update: Forward progress stopped. Fire is 75% contained. Approximate size of main fire 70 acres. The spot fire to the north 20 acres. Firefighters will continue to strengthen control lines and mop up any hot spots today.

Per Yuba County OES: Evacuations to remain in place for the following areas. Frenchtown Dobbins between Frenchtown and Indiana School Road, Camper Lane, La Place Lane , Indiana School between Frenchtown Dobbins and Clark Ranch Road and Clark Ranch Road. These evacuations will remain in place throughout the night as fire crews continue to work the fire in the area.

Please stay out of the area as fire equipment is being moved to combat the fire. Road Closures remain in effect at Indiana School at Clark Ranch south to Indiana School at Frenchtown Dobbins West to Frenchtown Dobbins at Frenchtown.

Anyone evacuated that needs overnight shelter please call OES at 530-749-7700. All other areas may repopulate at this time.

No update in acreage, still at 90 acres. Dozer line around the main fire is complete, still working on completing a line around the spot fire. Firefighters will remain on the fire throughout the night. Tomorrow morning, 10 engines 4 dozers and several hand crews will continue extinguishing hotspots and mopping up. This will take several days to fully contain.

Aircraft are leaving the fire, returning to their respective bases for the night. Ground resources will remain throughout the night and continue to build containment lines.

Latest estimate puts the main fire at 70 acres, with a 20-acre spot fire ahead of the main fire. The fire continues to burn, now at a slow rate of spread, in a north/northeastern direction. Firefighters are continuing to make progress.
