IC reports the line around the fire has been completed. Mop-up continues, some engines will be available from the fire for new incidents. The cause has been confirmed as a spot outside yesterday’s fireline.

Frosty IC reports a hoselay around the fire. A fire investigator is requested to the scene to determine the cause of the fire – possibly a spot outside yesterday’s containment lines. Heavy mop-up operations are ongoing.

The Frosty incident may be a rekindle of Sunday’s Strawberry incident, listed below. However, a possible new start a little further down the road has been reported and will be investigated. The fire is burning in heavy timber. IC has ordered a crew and a faller.

Firefighters now on scene at the Strawberry Fire report 1/2 acre, canceling some resources, including Air Tac 17 and Tanker 89.
