Four engines are currently assigned to the fire. IC has canceled one Washington Ridge crew and a dozer plus any other units still en route with the exception of law enforcement.

Grizzly IC is requesting a fire prevention officer to the fire to investigate the cause of the fire. If no prevention officer available, CHP to respond.

Grizzly Air Tac reports the fire is holding, surrounded by the Diggins and roads on two sides. No lateral movement of the fire visible, minimal spread.

The ANF dozer and one crew are being canceled, all other units to continue in. Firefighters are still attempting to make access. The fire is being held by the Diggins for now.

The fire appears to be in the same area than the Grizzly Fire in July. Watch for fire equipment going down Grizzly Hill and Jackass Flat Roads.
