Gunnison, off Munjar Road and Meridian Road, northwest of Chico in Butte County. Burning in grass. Evacuations have been lifted.

The fire is fully contained. Three small outbuildings were destroyed, 2 outbuildings were damaged. No homes destroyed, the cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Butte County Sheriff’s Office is lifting all remaining EVACUATION ORDERS for the Gunnison Fire. Residents can return to their homes.

Butte County Sheriff is lifting some of the evacuation orders. BCSO is lifting the Evacuation Order for Munjar Road West of Coyote Song Road. Everything East of Coyote Song remains under an evacuation Order.

The Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) is expanding the IMMEDIATE EVACUATION ORDER for residents living on MUNJAR ROAD and ALL ROADS off MUNJAR ROAD due to a fire burning north of Chico.
