Hammonton Air Tac is releasing the helicopter back to Whitecloud. Tanker 88 is released, already on base at Grass Valley Air Base. IC is canceling the handcrew and the dozer.

Firefighters, with the help of aerial resources, are nearing containment. Winds have hampered containment efforts somewhat, but firefighters have a wetline around the fire.

Engines and helicopter are working the uncontained spread of the fire. Another spot has been identified and is being worked on.

Air Tac reports the fire is now approximately 15 acres, a finger of the fire outside the retardant lines took off. Firefighters are still making good progress.

Additional resources have arrived at scene and are making good progress. The fire is burning in grass at a slow rate of spread. No structures threatened and no road closures.
