Air Attack is leaving the fire, helicopter 404 is picking up their crew and returning to their base at Columbia.

The fire is holding at 2-2.5 acres, hoselay is about to be completed. Two Washington Ridge handcrews are working on the incident. All resources currently assigned to the fire will be on scene for at least two hours. PG&E rep requested for line inspection

Good progress on the hoselay around the fire. Air Attack remains over the fire, the tanker will extend the retardant line.

Incident Commender (IC) estimates resources will be committed 2-3 hours at least.

There are no evacuations or road closures at this time, however avoid the Retherford/Wild Iris area and watch for equipment. IC reports retardant lines around 50% of the fire. Ground resources are making good progress.

Iris Air Attack reports light flashy fuels under timber canopy, burning at a slow rate of spread. Ground resources are making access and starting a hoselay around the fire. IC is optimistic it’ll be wrapped up soon.
