The fire is now fully contained. Mop-up operations are continuing, resources will remain on the fire through the evening.

Forward spread and threat to the community of Sierra City has been mitigated.

Helicopter is being released from the incident.

All aircraft, with the exception of the helicopter have been released. Good progress is being made. Per the IC (Incident Commander), the fire is holding.

The fire is burning at a moderate rate of spread in brush and timber. Resources are making good progress. There is no threat to structures. Air Attack 210 is over the fire, assisting ground resources Engine 331, Engine 62 and Engine 73. Tahoe National Forest is assisted by CAL FIRE Engine 2365, Downieville and Sierra City Fire as well as Washington Ridge crews 2 and 5.

Four air tankers and one Type 1 helicopter are assigned to the incident.
