Firefighters are requesting Meadow Drive to be shut down to safely move equipment. CHP and/or NCSO will handle the closure.

The fire is contained. Firefighters on scene will be committed for one hour for mop-up.

Units still en route to the Meadow Fire are being canceled. Air Attack 230 is returning to the Grass Valley Air Base.

Air Attack is over the fire, reports slow rate of spread. Canceling the 2 tankers and one helicopter. Helicopter 512 still committed. Per Air Attack, “they got this.”

IC reports one outbuilding threatened, all resources to continue in. Good chance of picking it up before Meadow View Drive. Use extreme caution on Hwy 174, numerous fire engines en route.

Vegetation fire on Meadow Drive off Hwy 174, reportedly started by a mower. Full wildland response en route. First unit at scene reports the location to be Meadow Drive and Lower Colfax, approximately 1/4 acre.
