Investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.

One minor injury and one fatality have been reported. Identification is pending next of kin notification.

Firefighters have a knockdown on the fire. Extensive checking of the building and very heavy mop-up operations will be ongoing for several hours.

Multi-angle attack on the fire is in progress. CAL FIRE, Nevada County Consolidated, Ophir, Peardale-Chicago Park units are on scene.
