Better mapping has reduced the Omega Fire perimeter to 66 acres. Firefighters made great progress overnight, containment is up to 80%.

Omega Fire will go into extended attack. Strike teams arriving from out of the area will stage at Hwy 49a at Rattlesnake Bar Road.
