    The road construction work turns out to be NID work. Thanks to quick work by the dozer operator the first fire was kept small until firefighters arrived. The cause appears to be fireworks, as evidenced in the photo.

    Red IC reports the second fire contained at approximately 1/4 acre. Mop-up operations on both fires are underway. No structures were damaged or destroyed, no injuries to firefighters reported.

    Water tender has arrived at the second fire. CAL FIRE prevention Officer en route to both fires.

    The incoming water tender is diverted to the second fire. The cause of both fires is under investigation by prevention officers.
