The fire is now fully contained. Firefighters have a handline around the fire.

The fire is holding at 5 acres, resources on scene will be committed to the fire until approximately 1:00 pm, barring any unforeseen flare-ups. No containment called yet because of the steep terrain.

Some resources are being released. Forward progress of the fire has been stopped and mop-up operations are underway.

Helicopter 514 has been released from the fire, returning to Whitecloud. Ground resources are making good progress.

There are no evacuations or road closures at this time. However, use caution on Haul Road and Secret Town Road and Secret Town Lane – watch for fire equipment in the area.

Firefighters are constructing line and contingency line. Aircraft will be up shortly, Two tankers and a helicopter on order with Air Attack.

Dispatch has been augmented to include two Washington Ridge crews, additional dozers. Air Attack and air tankers will be deployed early.
The fire is burning in a heavily forested area, firefighters will attempt to contain the fire before the sun hits the fire and increases fire activity.

IR flight revealed no intense hotspots in the fire perimeter.
Reported in the early morning hours, the fire is currently not threatening any structures. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
