The Simmons Fire is now 43 acres & 50% contained. Decrease due to better mapping. An evacuation warning is placed for the Simmons Ranch Rd area. Oro Quincy Hwy has controlled traffic in place.

Simmons Fire off Hwy 162 & Simmons Rd, Lake Oroville (Butte County) is now 50 acres & 50% contained. Decrease in acreage due to more accurate mapping.

Evacuation Warning for Simmons Rd from Mayberry Rd to Big Ridge Rd and all connecting roads has been lifted.
Evacuation Order for Simmons Rd from Hwy 162 to Mayberry Rd and all connecting roads has been downgraded to an evacuation warning.

Evacuation Order for Simmons Rd from Hwy 162 to Mayberry Rd including all connecting roads.
Evacuation Warning for Simmons Rd from Mayberry Rd. to Big Ridge Rd and all connecting roads.

The fire is currently 50 acres. There are structures in the area, not immediately threatened.
