Valkenburg IC reports good progress, tankers have slowed the progress of the fire. Ground resources are cutting line around the incident, there are no road closures or evacuations at this time.

Tankers are starting to work on the left flank of the fire, starting near the NID ditch and extending the line to the heel of the fire. The fire is mostly burning in blackberry brushes and grass.
