Minimal fire behavior with creeping and smoldering. Numerous structures, energy and communication infrastructure threatened. Evacuations, area, road and trail closures in effect.

All Evacuation Orders and Warning are lifted for the LNU Lightning Complex. This includes the counties of Colusa, Lake, Napa, Solano, Sonoma and Yolo. Various repairs are ongoing and may create delays and road closures within the area. Some local road closures are:

The fire experienced limited growth on the Walbridge Fire and Hennessey Fire. Many repopulated areas remain in an evacuation warning. Crews will continue to work to build containment lines and fire suppression repair teams remain active throughout the area. Dry and hot weather continues, trending throughout the weekend.

Last night the fire experienced limited growth on the Walbridge Fire and Hennessey Fire. Many repopulated areas remain in an evacuation warning. Crews will continue to work to build containment lines and fire suppression repair teams remain active throughout the area. Dry and hot weather continues, trending hotter into the weekend

Crews will continue to work to build containment lines and fire suppression repair teams remain active throughout the area. Repopulations will continue to occur. Dry and hot weather is predicted and southwest winds are expected today in the area.

Firefighters worked to control flare-ups in the interior islands of the fire which pose a threat when near the fires perimeter. Dry weather continues with hotter than usual temperatures this week. Crews will work to mitigate additional fire growth in the North and East areas of the Complex. Repopulations continue to occur in many communities throughout the fire zone as areas are determined safe for return

Solano County begins phased repopulation process; helping residents safely return home after evacuation

Phase 1: This phase went into effect on August 27, 2020. This phase included residents who live in the areas West of Interstate 80 from Lyon Road to Vaca Valley Road, including Vaca Valley Road. Gates Canyon Road will remain closed.

Phase 2: Today, August 28, 2020 phase 2 has gone into effect and includes the area north of Vaca Valley Road up to Cantelow Road and from Pleasants Valley Road to Gibson Canyon Road. Cantelow Road from Pleasants Valley Road to English Hills Road will remain closed. Mix Canyon Road will remain closed.

Phase 3: Today, Phase 3 of the repopulation effort went into effect, and all County residents, including those in Phase 1 and 2, are able to return safely to their homes. Please note, a few roads will remain closed due to unsafe conditions, affecting approximately 60 properties.

The following road closures will remain even after phased reopening. Road closure removal will be determined at a future date. Access will remain restricted due to road damage, utility needs and falling trees.

A Local Assistance Center will open in Vacaville on Sunday, August 30 to offer in-person support services to residents and property owners impacted by the LNU Lightning Complex fire. The center is located at the Solano Community College campus in Vacaville (2001 North Village Parkway), will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and will operate seven days a week until further notice.
