November 1, 2020 – The 15th annual Bridge of Giving is underway now until 3:00 pm. Bring non-perishable food to the 49er bridge on the South Yuba. The goal is to build a bridge bridge of donated food across the span of the old South Yuba River Bridge to benefit the The Food Bank of Nevada County. Kudos to Pamela Morey for creating and spearheading this community event!

The Food Bank of Nevada County holds a COVID Distribution every Thursday from 10-12 at the Grass Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church at 12889 Osborn Hill Rd Grass Valley 95945.
They also go to North San Juan on the second Tuesday of every month. That drive-thru is located at the Oak Tree School 18847 Oak Tree Rd, North San Juan. They also send food out to local organizations that can help in between our distributions. Folks can check out the website for times and locations.
All of distributions are Drive-Thru style, we ask for clients last names, family size, and zip code. Food items include a variety of shelf stable items, miscellaneous donated food, some fresh items and kid friendly foods. Questions: www.foodbankofnc.org or call 530-272-3796.
