Grass Valley, CA – The Center for the Arts is excited to announce a $20,000 matching gift challenge in support of its Spring Membership Drive. Now through June 8, every donation and membership will be matched dollar for dollar, doubling the impact of community support.
At a time when the arts are increasingly being devalued and defunded across the country, this match presents a powerful opportunity for our small town to stand up for creativity, connection, and culture. “The Center isn’t just a venue. It’s where kids discover their voice on stage, where families come together for free events, and where neighbors experience music, art, and joy together,” said Elissa Spencer, board member at The Center. “Becoming a member is one of the most accessible ways to keep the arts alive in our community.”
Memberships start at just $120 per year and include exclusive ticket discounts, early access to shows, and the satisfaction of supporting youth arts programs, free family fun days, and performances that reflect the vibrant spirit of Nevada County.
