Nevada City, CA— The 2020 Paw and Order Dinner will take place Friday, September 25th at Miners Foundry in Nevada City.

This year the Paw and Order will feature a different format where guests will have an opportunity to greet the K9 teams as they pick up a pre-ordered takeaway dinner freshly prepared by Chef Antonio Ayestaran. Guests will PAWSitively love their sWAG bag filled with PAWsome treats.

This year we can’t invite guests to participate in our usual auction and sit-down dinner and program. Instead, we have designed this event to provide you with what you have come to love about the Paw and Order Dinner — the opportunity to support the good work of Rüdiger Foundation, a chance to meet our K9 officers and their human partners, a delicious three-course dinner prepared by Antonio and all of the news of the past year— all while keeping everyone safe.

Join us on Friday, September 25th for the Paw and Order Dinner.

Tickets are $100 and may be purchased at RuFK9.org

Preselect your entree at time of ticket purchase.

Selections are salmon, flat iron steak, vegetarian mushroom polenta.

Select the time you prefer to arrive— you will drive through the Miners Foundry parking lot to greet the K9s, pick up your freshly prepared dinner and collect your sWAG bag, which includes your program link.

Inside your sWAG bag you will find a Golden Era giftcard for the famous Rüdiger cockTAIL (or two non-alcoholic Rüdiger cockTAILS), a $50 tax donation letter, a gift from our sponsors, a gift from Rüdiger Foundation, a fresh chocolate PAW from Lazy Dog Confections, a printed event program and link to the video program.

So much has changed this year, including the loss of two of our founders and two supporters who meant the world to us. In our video program will be honoring the memories of former Nevada City Police Chief Timothy Foley, Willard (Bill) Drown, Sharon Boivin and Michael (Mike) Sivila. We will also bring you all of the news and updates on our K9 teams and give you a glimpse into what is planned in the coming year.

We won’t be hosting an auction this year. For obvious reasons, we felt it was wrong to ask hard hit businesses to donate auction items. Instead, we are using this as an opportunity to promote those who have donated to the auction in past years. We are featuring a supporting business each day on our social media and website and ask that you give these businesses special attention this year. Let’s all help to keep them strong — together we will get through this challenging time.

We appreciate your support and hope you will join us for the 2020 Paw and Order Dinner. This is the only fundraiser of the year and we rely on your support in order to provide K9 resources to our local law enforcement agencies including Grass Valley Police Department, Nevada County Sheriff and California State Parks.

~Thank you from Rüdiger, Kano, Miro and Ranger
