NEVADA COUNTY, Calif. December 14, 2019 – Several thousand motorcycles once again rumbled through the streets of Nevada City and Grass Valley en route to the Fairgrounds for the 28th edition of the Food and Toy Run.
Mother Nature collaborated, dry roads and even sunshine greeted the riders as they departed the Nevada County Rood Center at high noon. All along the route, spectators stood and waved to the impressive procession. Families and their kids clapped and cheered as the bikes came into the Fairgrounds. Then, more cheers for the bikers on as they walked in and filled the tables with toys, gifts and food.
Kudos to Thom Staser, founder of the Nevada County Food and Toy Run, Nevada County law enforcement, CHP and the thousands of bikers and volunteers.
