January 14, 2019 – How does one navigate the rest of life in ways that deliver as much joy, happiness, and satisfaction as possible? Local author Jan Fishler will address that and other common life questions as the guest speaker at the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Nevada County Branch’s meeting on January 19th at Peace Lutheran Church. Her presentation will focus on “Making the Most of the Rest of Your Life,” which is also the title of her latest book. Fishler’s discussion will include creating a mini-plan for making the most of the rest of life.
Fishler’s career began with writing and producing informational and motivational videos. In addition to developing more than 100 corporate scripts, she produced “The Path to Publication,” a DVD series filmed at the Community of Writers Conference and featuring advice from authors including Amy Tan and Anne Lamont.
