GRASS VALLEY, Calif. November 12, 2018 – Nancy Baglietto, executive director of Hospitality House, will be the guest speaker at the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Nevada County Branch’s meeting on Saturday, November 17th at Peace Lutheran Church. Her presentation will focus on “Addressing Chronic Homelessness,” including Hospitality House’s “Housing First” and expanded Street Outreach strategies. Hospitality House is a community effort to help homeless Nevada County residents get back on their feet.

Baglietto assumed her role at Hospitality House in 2017. Most recently, she had served as executive director for Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, located in the Bay Area. Earlier in her career, she was involved with development and operational efforts for the Regional Parks Foundation within the East Bay Regional Parks District. She began her career as a case manager and development director for the Shelter Network of San Mateo County. Baglietto holds a Master of Social Work degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

Free and open to everyone, the meeting will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 828 West Main Street, Grass Valley, on Saturday, November 17th, from 9:30 – 11:30 am (program begins at 10:00 am).

AAUW membership is open to individuals with an associate, baccalaureate or higher degree from a qualified educational institution.
