NEVADA CITY, Calif. Sept. 27, 2017 – Drivers on local thoroughfares and highway on and off ramps around Nevada City reported placards on road sign posts with a cryptic message.
The signs caught the attention of several readers who sent us photos asking what or whom these signs might refer to.
“I don’t get it, what is this supposed to mean?” one reader wrote.
“The anonymous poster(s) appear to exhibit only a tenuous grasp of both geography and the law,” another commented.
The placards being unsigned, another likened them to comments posted by anonymous cowards or fake profiles on the internet.
The signs are being removed from the state and county right of way.
As succinct as the oaf that drove the truck that said “Invade Irac.
Or those guys that wanted to shoot “l’ otters.” What a bunch of morons.
