After our highly successful 2024 Anti-Human Trafficking Symposium, Soroptimist International of Grass Valley is providing another awareness event.
This Family Friendly Run/Walk is to promote awareness of human trafficking in our area and the world. Human trafficking is among the world’s fastest growing criminal enterprises.
California is statistically the number one most trafficked state.
There is a two mile course for the runners and walkers with family friendly informational signs along the way. There is a special course for children under 6! Come enjoy a beautiful day with family and friends and increase your awareness of human trafficking to protect your family.
The $15 entry fee is only to cover expenses. Children and youth under 18 are free.
The first 75 adult registrants receive t-shirts. All registrants receives a swag bags. Under 6 participants receive a ribbon and and healthy treat. Every adult registrant receives two tickets for the raffle gifts! More tickets available to purchase.
There will be informational vendors: Three Strands Global, Communities Beyond Violence, Child Welfare Of Nevada County, The Family Justice Center and Joe Swallow from Yuba City Police Department. He will be available to talk with parents regarding internet safety.
This is a Community Strong Event – United Against Human Trafficking.
