Yesterday, Peardale-Chicago Park Fire responded to a vegetation fire on Arrowhead Mine Road off You Bet Road.
While en route, CAL FIRE Air Attack reported a fire approximately 200’ by 200, burning in light fuels. Upon arrival, crews found that one side of a structure was also involved, in addition to the surrounding vegetation.
Firefighters quickly knocked down the structure fire and immediately transitioned to containing the vegetation fire, preventing any further spread.
Thanks to the rapid response and coordinated efforts of all responding agencies, the fire was quickly contained.
