GRASS VALLEY, Calif. February 22, 2018 – On Thursday, February 22, at 3:13 pm, Grass Valley Police Officers were dispatched to the Tri Counties Bank in the 700 block of Sutton Way regarding a robbery that had just occurred.

Upon arrival, Officers learned that the suspect had entered the bank and presented a teller with a note demanding money.

The teller complied and the suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money walking eastbound through the parking lot. No weapons were presented and no one was injured.

It is unknown if the suspect got into a car after leaving the bank.

Officers searched the area extensively for the suspect but were unable to locate him. He is described as follows:

  • White male adult – estimated to be in his 20’s
  • 5’10” – 6’00” tall, thin build
  • Wearing a dark colored “hoodie”, blue jeans, a baseball style hat under his hood
  • Also wearing a dark colored scarf to conceal his face
