GRASS VALLEY, Calif. May 1, 2017 – Today at 11:00 am family, friends and firefighters gathered for the traditional bell ringing as we reflect on the service of Jim Beatie.
Jim served his community and the City of Grass Valley Fire Department from the mid 1980’s to the 1990’s last holding the rank of Assistant Chief. Jim was a long time employee of the City of Grass Valley Public Works Department as a treatment plant operator, many of his coworkers attended today’s ceremony.
We are thankful to Jim for his service to the City of Grass Valley, his community and the fire department.
