October 23, 2019 – The Nevada County Community Library is partnering with Hospitality House for a book discussion of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize winning title Evicted, by Matthew Desmond.
Desmond examines the challenges of poverty in America and the disadvantages that people are faced with. The program will be held at Hospitality House on November 6th at 10:00am.
This event will include a tour of their facilities, a book discussion, and a personal testimonial of a guest residing at Hospitality House. Space is limited and registration is required. The Madelyn Helling Library has limited copies of Evicted available for check out.
