GRASS VALLEY, CA – BriarPatch Food Co-op and Sammie’s Friends are joining forces for Pooch-a-Palooza, a tail-wagging dog adoption event happening Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at BriarPatch Grass Valley.
Held in celebration of Adopt-a-Pet Day, the event will feature a lineup of adoptable dogs ready to meet potential new families and maybe even find their fur-ever homes that very same day. Community members are encouraged to stop by, say hello and learn more about adoption opportunities through Sammie’s Friends.
The event will take place at The Knoll at BriarPatch Grass Valley, located just past the picnic table gazebo and uphill from the EV chargers. Visitors can follow posted signs to the event area.
Sammie’s Friends will also host an information booth where attendees can learn more about the organization’s programs, upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.
Sammie’s Friends is a nonprofit animal shelter and rescue organization serving Nevada County and surrounding communities through adoption, rescue and animal welfare programs.
