NEVADA CITY, Calif. — Nevada County Library is inviting local authors to participate in its annual Local Author Showcase on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Madelyn Helling Library.
The annual showcase celebrates Nevada County’s literary community by bringing local authors and readers together. Attendees of all ages can meet local writers, discover new books and purchase titles directly from participating authors, while authors will have the opportunity to share their work and connect with the community.
Local Authors Invited to Apply
Applications are now open for local authors interested in participating. The deadline to apply is Oct. 24.
Authors may apply online at nevadacountyca.gov/3320/Local-Author-Showcase or pick up a paper application at any Nevada County Library branch.
Space is limited, and participation is not guaranteed. Authors will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis, with preference given to Nevada County residents. Interested authors are encouraged to apply early.
