NEVADA CITY, CA – Nevada County Library is excited to announce the return of its Local Author Showcase, taking place Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Madelyn Helling Library in Nevada City.
This annual celebration transforms the library into a lively literary bazaar, offering local authors the opportunity to share their work, connect with readers, and sell books directly to the community.
How to Apply
Local authors interested in participating are invited to submit an application by Oct. 25, 2025. Applications may be completed in one of two ways:
- Online: Local Author Showcase application
- Paper application: Available at all Nevada County Library branches
Applications are now open, and space is limited. Authors are encouraged to apply early to secure their spot.
Due to space restrictions, the library cannot guarantee acceptance of all applicants, but every effort will be made to include as many authors as possible. Participating authors will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
