LONG-TERM PROJECTS
Interstate 80 (Placer County) from the Long Ravine underpass to just east of the Magra Road Overcrossing: Major roadwork for the winter is suspended on a $50.6 million project to construct a three-mile truck climbing lane on eastbound I-80 and make other improvements to the interstate just east of Colfax, including replacing and widening the Cape Horn undercrossing bridge. Other work including retaining wall and slope reconstruction may proceed during the winter season, weather permitting.

Interstate 80 (Placer County) from the Long Ravine Bridge to the Secret Town Overcrossing: Motorists can expect alternating lane and shoulder closures for bridge work. Eastbound motorists can expect delays around the clock Wednesday and Thursday, and from midnight to noon Friday. Westbound motorists can expect delays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
SHORT-TERM PROJECTS
State Route 49 (Sierra County) from the Yuba County line to Old Gold Lake Road: Motorists can expect intermittent one-way traffic control from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday for miscellaneous work.
State Route 49 (Sierra County) from the Lager Beer Sidehill Viaduct to Fiddle Creek: Motorists can expect intermittent one-way traffic control and right shoulder closures from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday for guardrail repair.
Interstate 80 (Placer County) from the Bowman Undercrossing to the Haines Road Overcrossing: Westbound motorists can expect a right shoulder closure around the clock through December 2019. Detour signs will be in place for a County bridge deck replacement project.
Interstate 80 (Placer County) from the Bell Road offramp to the Dry Creek Road Overcrossing: Eastbound motorists can expect intermittent lane and right shoulder closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday for guardrail repair and landscape work.
Interstate 80 (Placer County) at the Interstate 80/State Route 174 Separation: Westbound motorists can expect a full on- and offramp closure from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday for miscellaneous work. A detour is available at Canyon Way.

Interstate 80 (Placer County) from the Nyack Road Overcrossing to just past the Blue Canyon exit: Westbound motorists can expect intermittent lane and right shoulder closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday for guardrail repair.
Interstate 80 (Placer County) from Yuba Gap to the Emigrant Gap Overhead Crossing: Westbound motorists can expect intermittent lane and right shoulder closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday for guardrail repair.
State Route 89 (Sierra County) at Little Truckee River: Motorists can expect intermittent one-way traffic control and right shoulder closures from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday for guardrail repair.
State Route 267 (Placer County) from Martis Creek Bridge to the road leading to the ranger station: Motorists can expect intermittent one-way traffic control from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday for a crack seal operation.
