LONG-TERM PROJECTS

Interstate 80 (Placer County) from the Long Ravine underpass to just east of the Magra Road Overcrossing: Major roadwork for the winter is suspended on a $50.6 million project to construct a three-mile truck climbing lane on eastbound I-80 and make other improvements to the interstate just east of Colfax, including replacing and widening the Cape Horn undercrossing bridge. Other work including retaining wall and slope reconstruction may proceed during the winter season, weather permitting. No traffic interfering work is scheduled this week.

SHORT-TERM PROJECTS 

State Route 49 (Sierra County) from the Lager Beer Sidehill Viaduct to Fiddle Creek: Motorists can expect alternating one-way traffic control and right shoulder closure from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday for guardrail work.

State Route 49 (Sierra County) from Convict Flat Picnic Area to the Loganville Campground: Motorists can expect alternating one-way traffic control from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday for miscellaneous work.

State Route 49 (Sierra County) from Yuba Pass Summit to Vista Point: Motorists can expect alternating one-way traffic control from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday for shoulder work.

State Route 49 (Sierra County) from Vista Point to the State Route 89 junction: Motorists can expect alternating one-way traffic control from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday for shoulder work.

Interstate 80 (Sacramento/Placer Counties) from the Madison Avenue Overcrossing to the Newcastle Road Overcrossing: Motorists can expect intermittent lane and shoulder closures from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday for a sweeping operation.

Interstate 80 (Placer County) from the Sacramento County Line to the State Route 193 junction: Motorists can expect intermittent lane and shoulder closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Tuesday for litter removal.

Interstate 80 (Placer County) from the Bowman Undercrossing to the Haines Road Overcrossing: Westbound motorists can expect a right shoulder closure around the clock through December 2019. Detour signs will be in place for a County bridge deck replacement project.

Interstate 80 (Placer County) at the Elm Avenue Overcrossing: Westbound motorists can expect a full ramp closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday for guardrail repair.

State Route 89 (Nevada/Sierra Counties) from the Hobart Work Center to Little Truckee River: Motorists can expect alternating one-way traffic control and right shoulder closure from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday for guardrail repair.

State Route 89 (Placer County) from the Tahoe City Maintenance Station to Squaw Valley Road: Motorists can expect intermittent one-way traffic control from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday for a grinding operation.

State Route 267 (Placer County) from the Nevada County Line to the State Route 28 junction: Motorists can expect alternating one-way traffic control from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday for a crack seal operation.
