LONG-TERM PROJECTS
Interstate 80 (Placer County) from the Long Ravine underpass to just east of the Magra Road Overcrossing: Final roadwork resumes on a $50.6 million project to construct a three-mile truck climbing lane on eastbound I-80 and make other improvements to the interstate just east of Colfax, including replacing and widening the Cape Horn undercrossing bridge.
May 6-10
Interstate 80 (Placer County) from the Long Ravine Bridge to the Secret Town Overcrossing: Motorists can expect alternating lane and shoulder closures for bridge work. Eastbound motorists can expect delays around the clock Monday through Thursday, and from midnight to noon Friday. Westbound motorists can expect delays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
SHORT-TERM PROJECTS
State Route 20 (Nevada County) from the Interstate 80 interchange to Zeibright Road: Motorists can expect intermittent one-way traffic control and right shoulder closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday for drainage work.
State Route 49 (Sierra County) from the Lager Beer Sidehill Viaduct to Fiddle Creek: Motorists can expect intermittent one-way traffic control and right shoulder closures from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday for guardrail repair.
State Route 49 (Sierra County) at Lemon Canyon Road and Campbell Hot Springs: Motorists can expect intermittent one-way traffic control and right shoulder closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday for shoulder work.
Interstate 80 (Placer County) from the Bowman Undercrossing to the Haines Road Overcrossing: Westbound motorists can expect a right shoulder closure around the clock through December 2019. Detour signs will be in place for a County bridge deck replacement project.
Interstate 80 (Placer County) from the Magra Road Overhead Crossing to the Alta Road Undercrossing: Eastbound motorists can expect intermittent lane and left shoulder closures from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday for drainage work.
Interstate 80 (Placer County) from Dutch Flat to Drum Forebay Road: Eastbound motorists can expect intermittent lane and left shoulder closures from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday for drainage work.
Interstate 80 (Placer County) from Laing Road to just before the Yuba Gap: Eastbound motorists can expect intermittent #3 lane and right shoulder closures from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday for guardrail repair.
Interstate 80 (Nevada County) from the Castle Peak Undercrossing to the South Yuba River: Westbound motorists can expect intermittent #3 lane and right shoulder closures from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday for striping work.
Interstate 80 (Nevada County) from Donner Pass Road & High Street to just before the Donner Pass Road Overcrossing: Westbound motorists can expect intermittent lane and right shoulder closures from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday for striping work.
Interstate 80 (Nevada County) from the Donner Pass Inspection Facility to the Union Mills Overhead Crossing: Westbound motorists can expect intermittent #3 lane and right shoulder closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday for electrical work.
State Route 89 (Sierra County) at Little Truckee River: Motorists can expect intermittent one-way traffic control and right shoulder closures from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday for guardrail repair.
State Route 267 (Placer County) from the Martis Creek Culvert to Stewart Way: Motorists can expect intermittent one-way traffic control from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday for a crack seal operation.
