NEVADA CITY, Calif. (Nov. 1, 2024) — Join the Tahoe National Forest for its second annual “Christmas on the Tahoe!” Community members are invited to stop by to purchase Christmas tree permits and browse the shop for unique gifts. Junior Snow Ranger activities will be available for children with the opportunity to earn prizes.
“Christmas on the Tahoe” will be held at two locations:
Nov. 9, 2024, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Tahoe National Forest Supervisor’s Office
631 Coyote St., Nevada City, Calif.
Nov. 16, 2024, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Tahoe National Forest American River Ranger District
22830 Foresthill Rd., Foresthill, Calif.
“We offer this opportunity for the public to come engage with their local forest, learn more about what we offer and spread some holiday cheer,” said Tahoe National Forest Conservation Education Program Manager Farrah Masoumi. “Our offices are rarely open on weekends but in the spirit of the holidays, we wanted to provide a convenient way for the public to purchase their tree permits and visit the forest.”
