July 15, 2020 – In an effort to help support our local business the City of Grass Valley has closed a portion of Mill Street between Bank Street to West Main Street. The remaining portion of Mill Street between Neil Street and Bank Street has been converted into a one-way street that continues down Bank Street.

With Governor Newsom’s recent order on Monday July 13th, that requires the closure of indoor dining again, the City wanted to give the opportunity for restaurants in the Downtown area to remain open with as much outdoor dining as possible.

The area between Bank Street and Main Street is being converted into a temporary outdoor pavilion where restaurants will be able to have seating outdoors and people can still dine out at their favorite local restaurant. Please come and support our Downtown business and restaurants during these COVID times.

Curbside pick-up is still available in select spots on Mill St and Main Street and the City will be adding more spots as needed to assist businesses.
