April 22, 2020 – Nevada County, like the state, continues to be under a Stay-at-Home order. On April 15th, County of Nevada Public Health Officer Dr. Ken Cutler issued a local Stay-at-Home order to help clarify local questions. Projections such as those found at www.covidactnow.org continue to warn against a surge of COVID-19 cases that could overwhelm local healthcare capacity if the state or local Stay-at-Home order is lifted prematurely.

County of Nevada continues to stress the importance of everyone following local, state, and federal orders and asks for community assistance educating others on essential services and safe distancing. County of Nevada Code Compliance, Public Health and the Sheriff Office stress the importance of everyone following local, state, and federal orders and asks for community assistance educating others on essential services and safe distancing.
