The second annual Deer Creek Music Festival will take place Saturday June 4 at Nevada City’s Pioneer Park.

Organized by a local volunteer, Mark DeMartini and produced by Miners Foundry, the extensive lineup of local artists will feature Tim High and The Mighty w/Bob Woods, Juliet Gobert, Jay Tausig, Tyler Foote Walkers, Majik Band, and Caltucky. In addition, the evening music after sundown will be enhanced with a laser show performance by Nu-Salt Laser Light Shows International.

“The Deer Creek Music Festival is our festival…for us!!” said DeMartini. “It’s all about community connection, music and nature! This annual festival is held in Nevada City’s beautiful Pioneer Park; a grassy meadow, surrounded by tall pines with Little Deer Creek meandering alongside.

“This is our special place and festival, where we can sit on a blanket with friends and family, while enjoying some of the most amazing and talented local artists!…even dance barefoot on the grass!”

Gates to the event will open at 2:00 p.m. with the show beginning at 2:10 p.m. lasting until 10:00 p.m. Kids are welcome, and there will be food and drinks for sale.
