GRASS VALLEY, Calif., July 1, 2026 – Dignity Health Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital will host a public hands-on demonstration event showcasing its new robot surgical system on Friday, July 10. This event celebrates innovation, growth, and expanded access to advanced robotic surgical care for Western Nevada County residents. It will provide a unique opportunity for community members and staff to experience firsthand how this cutting-edge technology will enhance precision, support minimally invasive procedures, and improve patient outcomes at their local hospital. The da Vinci robot, made possible through the generous support of donors and the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation, is anticipated to arrive on July 14, 2026.
